About Geneva

Touring Geneva Wine Country

Written by Gail Mangold-Vine, this is a guidebook to Geneva’s little known and very beautiful countryside. It carries full information about accommodation, where to eat, farmers’ markets, shopping, open-air activities, nature reserves, fun things for children, and more. Wine lovers will appreciate its comprehensive listing of Geneva’s wineries. The book also contains historical and cultural notes, brief articles about little-known aspects of country life and customs, and over 200 color photographs.

The guide was originally published in November 2004 by CFS Publications. A revised English edition (ISBN 2-8321-0239-5) was published by Editions Slatkine in the Spring of 2006.

Simultaneously, Slatkine published the first French edition, Guide de la campagne genevoise: Vignobles, villages et terroir (ISBN 2-8321-0234-4).

Paperbound, with a laminated cover, the 176-page book measures 21 x 10 cm (8 ¼ x 4 in.).
